CLOVELLY

  • Swim and surf at Clovelly Beach at the end of the road (300m away from the house).
  • Seasonal Whale Watching (July to November).
  • At the end of Clovelly Road you will find the prestigious Clovelly Country Club where you can enjoy a game of golf, tennis or bowls and relax afterwards in the comfortable bar or restaurant. They offer excellent pub lunches daily but you would have to book in advance for the Sunday lunches.
  • For the discerning bird watcher, the adjacent Wetlands with contoured walkways, is home to an abundance of bird life indigenous to this part of the Western Cape.
  • Enjoy scenic walks on the Clovelly side of Kalk Bay Mountain from which you see a majestic view of False Bay.

KALK BAY

Bargain with the local fishermen at the fishing harbour or catch your own fish from the jetty.

Visit the famous Brass Bell Restaurant with the sound of local bands or any of the numerous eating places along the Main Road. Browse at the quaint antique shops and galleries in the area and swim at the tidal Dale Brook Pool


FISH HOEK

Several good quality restaurants including the beach front Galley, Francois’, the local Spur and our own Fish ‘n Chips shop. Most of the local chain stores, supermarkets, café’s and our own Woolworth’s food market.

Station for the local metro railway to Cape Town & Simonstown. Pristine coastline ideal for bathing. Wander along Jaeger’s Walk to Sunny Cove


SIMONSTOWN

This historical town is situated further along False Bay on your way to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve at Cape Point .

The high street of this town offers the most interesting shops for Holiday makers, you have to experience it to believe it. The South African Navy is based here. A gemstone factory is situated here.

Boulders Beach – the penquins paradise is found just outside this Town. The Sea Forth and Black Marlin Restaurants are just past this town
